** Understanding the power of our BELIEFS ** The person in this video is me last week on holiday. For as long as I remember I have told myself, and anyone who asked, that I couldn’t swim. I truly believed this. I had drilled this belief into my brain for so long that I believed it to be fact. It was not fact but a self-limiting belief which for decades has stopped me swimming with my friends and family and playing in the sea on holiday. I didn’t even realise it but I had settled and missed out on so many opportunities.
This January I decided to make a change. Using my ‘3 Pillars for Achieving Sustainable Change’ model I worked to make change happen. I got into my local swimming pool and with support I totally squashed the belief that I was a non swimmer. Jumping off this shipwreck into the sea was much more than holiday fun. I felt empowered, in control and FREE from limitations that I had placed on myself (unconsciously).

We have concluded that they are more than well equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to make the change they want. It’s actually their attitude that it blocking them moving forward. This was a surprise for the client as they came to me convinced that the reason they were having trouble progressing in this area of their life was that they didn't have enough qualifications!
Recognising this is critical but then examining what is holding them back is when they are able to remove this block and magic starts to happen.
